Environment Friendly and Chemical Free Scandinavian Heat Treated Redwood Pine

Heat Treated Pine is taken from the upper part of the tree where the quality is best and does not contain dry knots. It has a lovely aroma and the light brown colour takes on the appearance of a hardwood. It is 50% more stable than the conventional chemically treated softwood, and has a better resistance to rot and insect attack.

Because the Pine undergoes 212 degrees of strictly controlled heat processing it has a high degree of weather resistance, cupping, twisting or splitting.

Heat treated Pine has better durability and overall performance than a Spruce, and is still less expensive than a hardwood timber.
